Thermal imagery reveals temperature patterns that conventional photography cannot. SSDS pairs disciplined flight planning with radiometric capture to produce organized visual data that clients can review alongside visible site conditions.

The objective is not to diagnose a system from the air. It is to help identify and document potential anomalies, preserve their location and context, and give the appropriate client, engineer, electrician, roofer, or specialist better information for follow-up evaluation.

Matrice 4T platform

The DJI Matrice 4T combines radiometric thermal imaging with high-resolution visible cameras in a compact enterprise platform. That allows SSDS to collect thermal findings and detailed visual context during the same deployment.

Its onboard laser rangefinder adds target-distance and location context, helping field and office teams communicate which asset or area is being documented. It supports clearer asset identification but does not replace project survey control.

Mission planning, time of day, weather, asset loading, viewing angle, distance, emissivity, and reflected conditions can all affect thermal results. Those variables are considered when developing the capture approach and interpreting the limitations of the data.
